Geeking out: World’s first 1,000-processor chip

In this Super Science Show episode, Charlie and Jordan discuss the “KiloCore,” an energy efficient microchip containing 1,000 independent programmable processors. The KiloCore was designed by National Science Foundation-funded researchers at the University of California, Davis, making it the highest clock-rate processor ever designed in a university.
